As a Professional Counsellor and Therapist, our work together is based on ethical principles of mutual trust and fair-play.
Counselling is a regular, usually weekly, process.
When you regularly attend sessions and settle your fees, then I can keep providing you with your uniquely supportive space and time - wholly dedicated to you.
My Ethical Refund Policy is simple:
If your situation changes unexpectedly, and you unfortunately might need to end counselling early, you might have some PrePay session credit left.
I'll calculate the difference left for you - pro-rata of the standard session fee and our agreed 'Working Together' terms - then simply return the balance to you.
You might find that paying for 1 Session, or up to 9 sessions, at a time suits your rhythm better.
If so, I offer you many different ways to PrePay fees or settle in-session:
Over the years, it is has proven unhelpful for clients if they build up a backlog of unpaid sessions.
So, as a gentle reminder, all booked sessions must either be PrePaid or settled in-session.
If you exceptionally need to cancel, reschedule, or do not attend and you have given me more than 1 week's notice, then I will waive your fee.
You are probably choosing to make a long-term self-care commitment in your counselling and therapy process.
A 10 Session PrePay package can help you support your commitment to yourself.
I uniquely offer a 5% Admin Discount when you PrePay for 10 sessions in one single
E-Banking or Cash payment.
Settling by 10 Session PrePay package also saves you the admin hassle of settling each week, giving more dedicated time for you, in each one of your counselling sessions.
If you prefer to spread your 10 session PrePay package fees differently, I also accept Credit/Debit card via PayPal.
Although clients often ask, I cannot ethically accept PrePayment for more than 10 sessions at a time.
